Okay so I looooveeee rice

  • Coconut curry with white rice

  • Brown rice green goddess bowl

  • Rice cakes with avocado and smoked salmon

it is truly such a staple in my household

and at the same time - white rice on it’s own isn’t exactly the most nutrient dense option

so obviously, I we needed to find a way to use it so it still bumps up our hormones, support our skin, and nourishes our body

so we’re dropping the deets:

  • My fav superfood skin rice below

  • Fav brands for bone broth + rice + coconut water

  • + 2 bonus mini recipes (crispy BBQ tofu + veggie stir fry)

πŸ‘‡πŸΌ shall we ladies?

So this Superfood rice was actually inspired by a male health influencer that my boyfriend looovesss named Noah Ryan (he’s honestly v cool)

He calls it his β€œsuperfood” rice and brings in cilantro, coconut oil, butter, etc.

so we do things a little differently around here but he completely changed the game by showing me how you can make rice with coconut water… I mean truly, who knew?

The Ingredients:

THE RICE:

We’re using white rice hereβ€”easy to digest, gentle on the gut, and a quick source of glucose to stabilize blood sugar when paired with healthy fats and protein. cause balanced blood sugar = balanced hormones.

THE COCONUT WATER (or MILK for creamier version):

Instead of water, we’re cooking this rice in coconut water, which is naturally rich in potassium, magnesium, and electrolytes - all key for skin health. These minerals are crucial for adrenal function, hydration, and cellular energy.

THE BONE BROTH:

Must I say more? Bone broth adds collagen, glycine, glutamine, and key minerals to support gut lining repair, hormone detox, and overall skin health. It’s a fav in my household.

THE GREENS:

This rice can easily be a way to sneak in some veg, or you can take the herbal route 🌿

I like either adding in chopped spinach or if you’re looking for more of a medicinal route, then remember that herbs are potent detoxifiers and mineral powerhouses. Now, really, you can go with your vibe for this one. Here’s a little cheat sheet below too:

βœ” Cilantro binds to heavy metals and supports detox
βœ” Parsley is rich in vitamin C and folate, key for hormone synthesis
βœ” Dill soothes digestion and provides trace minerals

Bonus: All three support bile flow, which is essential for breaking down fats and clearing hormones like estrogen from the body.

The Recipe:

INGREDIENTS:

Serves 3-6 (depending on your serving size of rice)

  • 1 cup white rice, soaked and rinsed
